PSA initiates "Student of the Week" program. Student chosen will be determined by teacher nominations and will be announced on Fridays. The criteria to be nominated include being an exemplary student in different aspects and showing hard work and effort in classes during the recent days.
Yunus Ensar Tastan, a Junior student, was chosen as the Student of the Week for the week of February 18-22. Congratulations to him!

PSA Mustangs Varsity Basketball team won the Annual 2013 Northeast Prep Tournament Championship by defeating O.S.N.A. in their last game with a score of 78-74. Dayshon Smith posted 19 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and the Mustangs defeated Our Savior New American to win the Third Annual Northeast Prep Tournament championship at Putnam Science Academy. Putnam Science (22-8) won 11 games in a row to close out the season. Jemal Mosely also had 23 pnts for the Mustangs, along with five assists and four rebounds. Joel Angus scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds for PSA and Paul Brooks and Mairega Clarke each scored 10 points.

Team Horse Power wins 2nd Place in Vermont State Championship |

After winning Connecticut Championship last week, Our Robotics teams Horse Power and Robo Mustangs attended their 2nd Tournament of the year. They went to Vermont State Championship on Saturday, February-23rd and Team Horse Power came out with a 2nd Place. As we already know, Team Robo Mustangs has already advanced to the World Championship to be held in April in St. Louis, MO.
With their recent successes, some members of our Robotics Teams were invited to the live morning show "Ebru Today" featured on Ebru TV. They discussed the Robotics program in our school and its success story.
